Your Story Here
“You only learn from mistakes, but they don’t have to be your mistakes” Warren Buffet.
Every one of us has made decisions in our lives that we wish we could take back.
Every one of us can look back in our lives and think,“If I only knew then, what I know now.”
Experience is always our best teacher. We don’t know, what we don’t know, until we all too often choose to learn the hard way.
It is a teenager’s nature to rebel against their parents and ignore their advice, until that fateful day when they decide they are skilled enough to text while driving.
It is a husband’s nature to ignore his wife’s pleas to eat healthier, until the heart-stopping day his doctor tells him he has a terminal disease.
It is a woman’s nature to believe her doctor knows what is best for her child, even when her instincts tell her too many vaccines could harm her baby, until that terrible day she sees her baby change after she allows her baby to be injected with several needles in one day.
“Life is what happens when we are busy making other plans” Allen Saunders
Life is full of trials and tribulations, but many of them could be avoided if we just learned to THINK about our decisions a bit more thoroughly before we take action.
Each of us has a story of how we ignored the advice of someone who has “been there, done that”. Each of us can relate how we didn’t listen to that little voice in our head or our own instincts and common sense – and lived to rue the day.
Others were not so lucky and have not lived to tell about it.
For those of you who luckily survived, and learned to thrive, we would like to encourage you to share your story here.
Have you overcome a terrible illness?
Have you been able to reverse a life threatening free-fall?
Have you successfully found your path to true health?
Obviously, we cannot share your life’s journey. That would take a book. (and we encourage you to write that book)!
But if you would like to share a synopsis of your awakening to a healthier and happier outlook on life, consider sharing your story with the Think Wholistic community.
What was it that changed your way of thinking and guided you towards a more wholistic life?
What compelled you to make positive changes? How did you overcome the fear and the forces that were sabotaging your healing?
Your story will resonate with someone else, and could be that message of hope that will encourage and inspire them to try a new strategy, or to make a more educated and confident decision.
Your story will also help YOU,
because when we share,
we show we care,
and we help to clear our own air
So what do you have to say?
Let’s hear it!
